1、青铜系指除铜镍、铜锌合金以外的铜基合金，主要品种有锡青铜、铝青铜、特殊青铜(又称高铜合金)。

2、紫铜：紫铜的特点就是导电性、塑性都较好，但强度、硬度较差一些，紫铜含其他成分很少，一般可以认定为纯铜。

在选择铜材料的时候要看它的色泽，一般铸铜人物雕塑工艺品都是采用紫铜，红铜，还有黄铜。但是劣质铜，铜材质里面含有杂质，用手一弯就断成两截，里面可以看到有黑色杂质，这样的材质是绝对不能采用的。
